During my third trimester we had a lot of exciting things going on. In October Zack and I went on vacation to Oregon and took a road trip around the state, we moved into our house, and celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas. We were really on the go for those couple months and, of course, that is when I really started slowing down and getting pretty uncomfortable. I had really bad swelling in my legs and feet, my back and hips hurt a lot, and I all of a sudden felt giant. Now I can honestly say that I really enjoyed being pregnant most of the time but there are things about it that can make you miserable once in a while. I always felt bad when I would complain because we didn't have the easiest time getting pregnant and I remember telling Zack that when I finally got pregnant I would never complain about anything. When I said that, in my mind I was thinking I would have morning sickness in the beginning then the rest of the pregnancy would be a cake walk. Well I did not have morning sickness at all, but the last couple months were hard, I didn't see that coming.
Thankfully I have a wonderful, understanding husband. He put up with my complaining and he always knows what to do to make me feel better and feel like what I'm feeling is normal and ok.
Up until my third trimester I was still working full time (5 days a week, 8 hour days) so I talked to my amazing boss (who was also pregnant at the time) and she let me change my schedule to 4 days a week. That day off during the week made a big difference, it was nice to be able to take a day and relax.

Sleep: Sleep has gotten worse, and the annoying “your body
is just preparing for when the baby comes” comments have been rolling in like
crazy.
Best moment this week? This is kind of a best and worst
moment, baby boy has been breech for the majority of the pregnancy and he just
does not want to move head down. So last
week I had a consultation with the only Dr. in town that does external version
to try and move him around and the dr. just did not feel comfortable trying
because of the position of baby boy’s spine.
So we have a scheduled C-Section for December 30th. I am pretty bummed that having a natural
vaginal birth isn’t an option for me but I am also thankful and excited to know
when baby boy is going to finally be here! In the end, all we care about is
that he gets here and he is healthy and happy.
